Well, baby Konner was born on the 9th of Sept (that's right 09-09-09) and is a great baby, he sleeps all the time allowing me to get a lot of things done during the day... Like making boards and getting your orders in. I'm hoping to catch up on the time lost and get a lot more boards made before my first market in December. I will keep you guys updated through the blog and Facebook (become a fan of Little Creations online if you haven't already) when I get more information on the date and time for Market. Meanwhile, keep checking back for new ideas, and new clothespin boards!

I promise you guys that I'm still here and haven't gone out of business or anything. Life has been crazy these past few weeks and couple of months around my house with my 1st son having his 3rd birthday and my 2nd son will be born (by induction) this Thursday (Sept 10). There has been a lot of preperation for both of these huge life changing events in my house and I've been slacking on making boards. After baby boy Little arrives and I get back into the swing of things I promise I will be on top of things again. I have my first market in December (I will update on that later) so I have to make a lot more boards before then. Keep your eyes open for new boards soon, I have a lot of sketches of things I want to do in my sketch book just have to get them out. I'm always open for new ideas from you guys so send them my way, even if you don't want to buy them yourself, someone will. :o)

If you're keeping up with Little Creations via Facebook you have seen where I am going to post pictures of the "announcement board" that I have made. You're probably also see where there is NO PICTURE of the board. Sorry about that, but as I have told my son when he says God needs to turn the rain off, "God won't stop playing in the sprinklers" long enough for me to make the board. I make the boards on my back porch, which is covered, but not covered enough for a monsoon. Every time I would go out to start on the board, it started pouring down rain and the wind blew every drop of rain onto what I was painting. So, having said all of that and justifying why I don't have the "announcement board" made yet to post pictures I will at least tell you what I am talking about. These boards are going to be very similar to the ABC boards that I am doing, but they are going to have wooden numbers and lettering on the ropes giving the info of baby after he/she is born.
If you pre-order these I can have them ready with the baby's initial before you go into the hospital and all I will have to do is attach his weight, height, etc. There will also be space left open on the ropes to attach a couple of pictures on the bottom or middle of the rope, just like all of the other boards. Get your orders in today, so I can have them ready by "D" day and waiting for you when you call!

Well, I'm venturing out and trying new things, so I've started with two boys who don't mind new things no matter what they look like.

This board was made for my oldest son's room. It is the distressed cream and fudge board with a distressed fudge and blue "H" outlined in a rustic orange and cream.

On the bottom there are 3 cords with the mini-clothes pins that are on the "clothes pin" boards to hold pictures. (ABC boards start at $40)
Be sure to check back tomorrow and see the "announcement board" I am making for my youngest who will be here in September.

This is a board I just finished for a friend who wanted a beach theme to match her office, I can't wait to see it when she gets pictures on it. The colors are Fudge with a Teal overlay, embellishments around the edges. This board is $30 +$5 with embellishments ($35 total).

I'm glad you stopped by to read my latest blog! I created this blog because I have recently started making picture "boards" that you see at the Canton Flea Market, Mistletoe and many other market places around the state. However, what you see are picture FRAMES that have been painted and distressed to look old/vintage. I started seeing these everywhere and really wanted some of them until I saw the price and never wanted to go and buy them again. So... I created my own, and added my own personal style to them, when I did this I wanted something different that had more options to them. By options I mean, you can use the "Clothesline Boards" for pictures, to do list, little notes for the huney around the house, or anything else you can think of to attach in these mini clothes pins. I hope you like what you see in my future post, and if you are interested in ordering something or having it custom made feel free to tell me and we can work something out. You do not always have to place a custom order, just keep up with the blog and I will let you know if I've created a board for a particular person or if it is still in stock to send to your door step. Also keep in mind, my Clothesline boards are not just for the home, you can hang these in your office at work, or even in your dorm room at school.
